How can I miss you as much as I do When all I know is the idea of you I forget the past so I can look towards what’s next And try to live life without regrets I know I’ve got plans, a future and dreams But, right now that’s not quite how it seems When I’m stuck in the now without you by my side And I’m stuck with just this idea in my mind That one day I’ll be your all and you will be mine That you will be the missing piece I will find I cling to His promise of a home and a future A future I want spent with you forever I only know now the concept of you But, my mind can’t simply get enough of it’s view The view now from afar but one day will be Closer than my very next heart beat I know these words sound crazy because their destination isn’t clear But, the truth is, I love you and right now that is something I fear.
